SERMON OVERVIEW:

In John 15 – a part of the Upper Room Discourse - Jesus is explaining the keys to having a fruitful Christian life using the imagery of a branches connected to a vine. Those who believe are the branches and Jesus is that vine. In this chapter, we’ve already seen the motivations for fruitfulness (apart from Him we can do nothing) and the instructions for fruitfulness (abide in His word, love and joy). Today, Jesus wraps up the discussion on fruitfulness by describing what the fruitful life looks like in practice.
