SERMON OVERVIEW:

In John 15, Jesus is teaching His followers how to use the life that He has provided. Having already explained that the key to living a fruitful Christian life (15:1-6) is connectivity to Himself (what He calls “abiding in Him”), Jesus now provides clear instruc- tions on how we can “abide” or dwell in relationship to Christ Jesus (15:7-11). Abiding in Christ means that I now dwell in Christ with the wholeness of my being.
