SERMON OVERVIEW:

As we open to John 16, we’re coming to the critical grand finale of the Upper Room Discourse: In John 13, Jesus taught us that we are to love like Him. In John 14-15, Jesus taught us to live in Him. In John 15, Jesus told the disciples that they would suffer and die for Him. But here in John 16, Jesus offers His followers the enabling power to do all of that (love, live and die). In this text, He’s offering the Holy Spirit - the greatest gift that’s ever been given!
