SERMON OVERVIEW:

Throughout John 18-19, John has presented us with a long series of contrasting character sketches. Here, at the death of Christ, we’re presented with a final contrast, between the sinners and the saints who were gathered around the foot of the cross. Last week, we saw the sinful responses to the magnificent work of Christ. This week, we’ll see the right way to respond to His sacrifice for us.
